Started joking with my hubby about getting bikes for us both again. 8 yrs ago i sold my crappy (but way fun) '82 Seca after becoming responsible mature homeowners and parents--cough cough.So one night I looked at the internet to see what brandy new bikes looked like, and i saw the 03 Sav's. Really liked the looks of it (luv the green one) and the price. Next day i casually mentioned my crazy idea to one of my girlfriends and she told me she thought her dad was selling one of his three bikes. He called me 15 min. later and told me he had --yup you guessed it. Meticulous '02 Savage, Silver, only 1000 mi, $1500 cheaper than new, with extra goodies. I went up to look at it and take it out for a spin. (I hadnt ridden in 8yrs, so i was really nervous) As soon as i sat on it, we clicked. went for a little spin and i was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to ride. I was even more surprised when my husband said to buy it after i called him from there, i was so sure his practical side would kick in when presented with the reality of it all. Needless to say I have my first thumper residing in my garage now. :)
